Belkin announced their new Pre-N Wireless Router (model F5D8230tt4), offering exciting features such as 8x wider coverage and 6x faster speed than the 802.11g standard. It also offers improved resistance to interference from neighboring Wi-Fi devices.

Utilizing True MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology from Airgo Networks, special attention has been given to previously nagging issues like coverage, speed and interference in large areas, particularly office spaces and large houses. True MIMO incorporates a "smart-antenna" technique utilizing multiple antennas and transmitting multiple signals on each antenna, thus covering a larger area and improved bandwidth for such applications as VoIP.

The Router comes with integrated 4-port 10/100BaseT Ethernet switch so you can even connect wired computers to your network. Increased security is also provided, thanks to advanced Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support, while Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and Network Address Translation (NAT) prevent outsiders from intruding into your network.
