Coming Soon: 8-Core Mac Pro?
Recently Apple’s UK store mistakenly posted a graphic which suggests that new 8-Core Mac Pros will be coming soon. It has since been removed, but rumors have been going around since October 2006 that Apple would be introducing an 8-core Mac Pro featuring dual Intel Quad-core Xeon processors. They are expected to be available in two configurations with either a 2.66 or 2.33GHz processor speed.
