Are you a talented smart phone application developer? Then you will be pleased to find out BlackBerry is thinking about you. Well not that specifically, but still! Tomorrow in Orlando BlackBerry will announce the $150 Million BlackBerry Partners Fund backed up by Research In Motion, the RBC and Thomson Reuters.
This is actually great news for all smart cell phone users out there. More money means better quality of next applications designed for future BlackBerries. That also mean competition will have to do the same thing. Google started a $10 million fund in November and Apple have come up with the $100 million iFund in March. Besides competing for better hardware products they all realize the software is so important too for their future in the mobile business.
So whether you are a good programmer or just a BlackBerry lover, this is great news. We'll wait to see what comes out of this.
