Believe it or not, it was about time for some newspapers to get the deal rolling in terms of money instead of free content, which means that CNN decided to put a price tag on the iPhone application which they will release this week, in a couple of days. The CNN iPhone Application will cost $1,99 to download, and the subscription model will cost $1 or $2 per week, according to CEO Rupert Murdoch.
As for the application itself, it will come with new and innovative features, such as being able to submit photos or videos to be used on the news; it also has a live live feed to be used in case there is a breaking event; users are able to create alerts taking in consideration a specific topic; and best of all - it resembles the design of CNN on television.
