5 new literature apps for the study guide purposes have been released over at the Apple App Store for download. Courtesy of Modality Inc. and Wiley Publishing, these initial titles are part of an expected series of forty apps provide comprehensive character, theme and plot summaries and analysis, interactive quiz features, and audio CramCasts covering the following works of literature:
- The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
- Macbeth by William Shakespeare
- Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
- The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
“The CliffsNotes brand is synonymous with fast, effective, and most of all, comprehensive literature review,” said Cindy Kitchel, vice president and publisher, Wiley Professional/Trade publishing. “Working with Modality, we are able to support students in a brand new way that combines the cool features of iPhone and iPod touch with our sharp, reliable study content.”
These literature apps are now available at the app store for $0.99.
