CK800 -- A Phone for the Accident Prone

|
CK800a.jpg

Remember Sonim XP1, that mobile phone touted as the toughest in the world? They've even held events wherein anyone who can break the Sonim XP1 would get to take home an iPod. Well, it looks like a Chinese phone called CK800 is giving Sonim Technologies a run for their money. It's water and shock resistant -- the perfect phone for the outdoorsy or accident prone type. It comes with external AA battery chargers. If you take a look at the pictures after the jump, you'd notice that when dropped from a very high location, the phone still worked although the screen shattered. Perhaps with a bit more improvement, the CK800 could compete head-on with the SonimXP1. We could only wait and see.
