Cisco Systems has recently announced a new line of wireless routers for home users known as the Cisco Valet. This E-Series are Wireless N, and there are four types: Linksys E1000, Linksys E2000, Linksys E2100L, and the Linksys E3000.
The E1000 is a budget router, and the E2000 is a midrange wireless router for Gigabit Ethernet and selectable dual-band. The E2100L is powered by Linux and allows full customization. The E3000 “supports all the features available in Cisco consumer-grade wireless routers, including simultaneous dual-band, Gigabit Ethernet, built-in UPnP AV media server, USB port to host network storage, and more”.
The price ranges from the E1000 at $80 and the E3000 costs $180.
