28 Sep 08 CiPhone i88i – Yet Another iPhone Clone?
We have all seen our fair share of iPod clones, right? Well, the latest trend on the tech industry is to create copycats of the Apple phone, also known as iPhone. As expected this look-alike comes from Asia, more specifically China, and is available online in black or white colors, for approximately $250.
The CiPhone i88i comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen – same as the iPhone – but the resolution is smaller at 240×320 pixels. The camera that serves to take photos and record videos is also worse than the Apple phone, with a 1.3-megapixel sensor. The same can be said about the internal memory that only features 2GB, but on the other hand, if you only look at the design and forget about the specifications, this is a true clone.
Multimedia tasks are done by the MP3 + MP4 player and a TV-Out function, while the navigation is achieved by GPRS & WAP. Other features include:
- bluetooth
- FM radio
- 2 games
- JAVA 2.0

hey guys dont get this my friend gave me one yesterday for free and my sim card is compleatly stuck in it. and it is really laggy and slow. but when i looked at it compared to my mums real 3gs it looks the same. camera is ok but nothing like my lg renior its 8mp. also in most menus and stuff it looks nothing like AN iphone and u cant put apps on it. Also pc thinks it is a mobile or usb. im taking to a phone shop today tosee if they can get my sim out. but this phone is ok just for showing off but not good when u use it much. Just get a real ipod touch and a phone. or and iphone just dont get a fake
