China Telecom to Sell BlackBerry Smartphones?By Chris - 06/25/2009 8:57:23 PM |
If you’re reading this from China then boy do we have some good news for you. China Telecom is apparently going to sell BlackBerry smartphones soon. Sure you’re still waiting for that iPhone we told you countless times but the BlackBerry thing seems more likely to happen soon.
China Telecom is working with RIM to launch some Berry phones in China but there aren’t any official launch dates let alone prices. Neither China Telecom nor RIM are talking just yet so we’re going to be in for some waiting. In case everything goes well RIM might see an increase in sales soon as China is definitely a market to get into. But then again nothing might happen since RIM’s previous partnership with China Mobile didn’t turn out so good in terms of sales.
