If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know that China and Google haven’t had the smoothest of relationships as of late, mostly dealing with the issue of censorship. Well, one thing led to another and Google announced that they would be holding off on releasing a number of Android phones to the Chinese market.
However, China has today released a statement that they will allow Android phones to operate in their country, as long as it obides by the nation’s laws. But wait, wasn’t it Google’s idea not to release some handsets, and not the Chinese Government’s? Perhaps they didn’t get the memo.
