China Mobile to Release App Store?By Chris - 04/22/2009 7:20:49 PM |

Look who’s ready to enter the mobile app world. China Mobile, only the largest mobile operator in China and the world, is planning to launch a mobile app store which will provide applications to its subscribers. The store will be called Mobile Market and it will be ready by the end of the year. By then China Mobile’s 3G TD-SCDMA should also be deployed and users will have everything they need in order to get more content to their cell phones. The market store seems to be the main reason why the iPhone hasn’t gone to China yet. It looks like Apple doesn’t want any competition in the application business.
