In China there is a “cool” way of the government to do propaganda which is also known as “red text messages”, and since the Spring Festival happened recently it was seen an increase in these type of messages.
According to the Vice minister of Industry and Information Technology from China, the messages will “promote a healthy mainstream culture” an work as a counter force to internet stuff. The content of the red text messages includes social ethics, promotion of low-carbon lifestyle, among others.
