CherryPal’s Africa, the netbook for less than $100By Mark Rollins - 12/16/2009 2:53:26 PM |
I’m really beginning to believe the dream of One Laptop Per Child when I saw that CherryPal has come out with the Africa. Yes, it is called the Africa, and it is a very inexpensive netbook priced at $99.
It has a 7-inch display, 400MHz processor, 256MB memory, 2GB flash memory, and can run Linux or Windows CE. I’m not certain if this is enough for what you need, but it is the start of minimalist computing, really.
