Cherry Lets You Make Calls without a SIM CardBy Chris - 07/05/2009 9:49:08 PM |
A new service is coming soon and it’s definitely worth checking it out. Created by Belgian company Cherry, the service promises to let you make calls without the need of a SIM card. That’s simply amazing! Will the service be available worldwide? What will the major carriers have to say about this predicament?
Cherry will offer you lots of WiFi calls and you won’t need to have a SIM inside your phone for it to work. All you will need is some software installed on your phone and you’re going to be all set for making and receiving calls. Better yet, you’ll be able to switch between SIM calls and WiFi calls automatically. That means you’ll be able to save some money every time you walk into a WiFi spot. Not to mention it will seriously lower your roaming charges!
We’ll be waiting for Cherry to fully launch and we want pricing details!. The company will release appropriate software for all major mobile platforms, so whether you own an iPhone, Android, Symbian or Windows Mobile device you’ll still be able to make Cherry SIM-less calls!
