The ASUS Eee PC 900 is also available for $550, but they can't say they have that many versions.

HP 2133 is now available in about 8 versions with prices ranging from $500 to $800. And they have one important upgrade, which can be selected when buying a Mini-Note. That is, drums rolling, the option to downgrade to XP instead of the very useful and original annoying Windows Vista.

HP in collaboration with Microsoft has developed an online community Teacher Experience Exchange to discuss, learn and share with other people. Bearing an unimaginable price of $499, the laptop is a boon for education market.
