Now here's an interesting phone from Samsung. Like the Nokia N95, the new Samsung G600 features a huge 5-megapixel resolution camera.

This GSM phone was approved in the beginning of July (FCC documents are available here, but as usual reveal nothing except that it s a phone made in Korea by Samsung. The full model name is Samsung SGH-G600.

The phone comes with a microSD memory card slot and, as can be guessed, the usual suspects: media player, Bluetooth and a USB interface for data sync. No word on the pricing or availability yet, though, so let's watch out for this one and see how it compares to the Nokia N95.

Special Edition Samsung P318+ with 18k of gold

Samsung%20P318-18k%20Gold%20Edition.jpgIn order to match all the hype under the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Samsung folks decided to add a new cellphone to their list: Samsung P318+.

This is an upgrade, or if you like to call it, special edition, of the previous Samsung P310 phone but it has some new features and specifications never seen before, such as: 18k of gold on the exterior, and plenty of extra data with the Olympic Games as the theme – ringtones, wallpapers, etc.

For now there isn't any information about the price or release date, but be assured that it won't come cheap. If this is a limited edition I guess there will be some lucky people selling them on eBay for a fortune.

All you need is an US connection from something that will be able to charge the phone. The idea is pretty marketable, giving users a friendly USB connection.
