The Asus P560 is one of many more smartphones that will be released this year working on Windows Mobile 6.1 platform. It first made an appearance in CeBIT 2008 and is now scheduled for a launch next month.

Like most of the other Asus phones, the P560 is a feature-packed device powered by a TI2431 450 MHz processor, 256MB ROM, and 128MB RAM. The phone has a pretty big 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display and like I said before, runs on WM 6.1. Along with 3G/HSDPA support, the P560 boasts of Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, GPS, and WiFi 802.11b/g. Storage can be expanded via the microSDHC slot and there's a 3.2-megapixel camera for all your imaging needs with a secondary front cam for video calling.

The Asus P560 will be available starting next month with an approximate $780 price tag.

Is the Eee fever going to last for ever? After the success that the tiny Eee PC 700 laptop had this year and after they started selling its bigger brother the Eee PC 900, it was only a matter of time before other Eee products to emerged, such as the eee b202.

Asus Eee Box B202 is a desktop as the picture suggest. It weighs 2.2 pounds and is packing an Intel Atom processor / 945 chipset, 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a 80GB hard drive. And, in order to make it run smoother I guess, there's a Linux Based operating system. No news on the price it will retail for, nor on the monitor, which I hope Asus is thinking about as we speak!

Sure it is, with customizable configurations starting from 1.0Ghz CPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB SSD Hard Drive, SuSE LED 10 to the top of their class at 1.6Ghz CPU, 2GB RAM, 120GB 7200 Hard Drive, Vista Business. The ASUS Eee PC 900 is also available for $550, but they can't say they have that many versions.

HP 2133 is now available in about 8 versions with prices ranging from $500 to $800. And they have one important upgrade, which can be selected when buying a Mini-Note. That is, drums rolling, the option to downgrade to XP instead of the very useful and original annoying Windows Vista.

The Asus Eee PC 4G-XU Notebook, one of the most successful sub notebook computers designed by Asus, and probably the one that started the hype for subnotebook computers now comes in 3 different colors. For those users always on the lookout for new styles, new skins, this is going to be great news. As seen in the picture, the ASUS Eee PC 4G-XU will now come in colors of pastel blue, pastel green and pastel pink. Really, I'm not into colorful gadgets, I'm more of a black/white/gray sleek-device type of guy, so I leave it up to those who like it to decide.

ASUS P320 touchscreen smartphone recently got FCC approval. It works well on Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), GPRS and EDGE connectivity. Running on Windows Mobile Pro 6.1, ASUS P320 features TI OMAP 850 200 MHz CPU, 1280 ROM/64 RAM, 2.8″ QVGA 320×240 px TFT LCD touchscreen and Built-in SiRF III GPS. Supporting Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0, the P320 extends the scope of mobility. If you want to store more there is an extendable MicroSD memory card slot. Its stylish appearance is reminiscent of HTC Touch Pocket PC.

Asus unveiled a new GPS-enabled mobile phone. The Asus P750-es phone is a HSDPA capable GSM phone supporting 900/1800/1900MHz operating frequencies and runs on Windows Mobile 6. Powered by a PXA270M 520MHz processor, the P750 is equipped with 64MB SDRAM and 256MB Flash memory. On-board goodies include WLAN 802.11b/g, USB 1.1 connectivity and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. The phone also incorporates an SiRF III chipset GPS and supports the TMC (traffic message channel) so you can have real-time information on traffic and other details about reaching your destination in time.

The Asus P750 sports a 2.6" QVGA screen at 240x320 pixels resolution and a 65k color TFT display. It comes with a 3 megapixel camera and weighs in at 130 grams including the battery. For added memory, it supports microSD memory cards.

Supported media formats include MPEG4, H.263, 3GP, MP3, WMA, AAC and AAC+. It can also handle JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF image formats. No word on the pricing yet.

After the Lamborghini notebook, Asus is reportedly prepping for the unveiling of the new Asus ZX1 Lamborghini PDA phone over at the CeBit in Germany in March, along with its new computers. According to mobinaute.com, the Asus ZX1 Lamborghini phone will have a perfectly flat display integrated onto the phone housing and will have a touch-screen interface very similar to the iPhone. It will run on either Windows Mobile 6 Pro or Windows Mobile 6.1, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, 520 MHz Qualcomm CPU, and 3G connection with HSDPA support. As expected, the Asus ZX1 Lamborghini is a high-end phone with a projected price of around US$950-1,000. We found the ZX1 for preorder here!

With the smashing success of the Asus Eee PC notebook, Asustek thought it wise to inundate the electronics market with Eee line of products namely: the E-DT, E-TV, and finally, the E-Monitor. The E-DT is a desktop PC which will be sold without a monitor. The first batch will run on Intel Celeron while subsequent batches will run on the Intel Shelton'08 platform with Diamondville processors. The E-DT will launch April or May this year and will be worth around $200-300 with Asus pushing the price down to only $199 when possible. The E-TV is a 42-inch LCD TV which is projected to have a price of only $200 and will launch around September of 2008. And lastly, the E-Monitor is an all around device like Apple's iMac. It will be sized between 19-21 inches and will feature a built-in TV tuner. Projected price on this one is $499. While Asus did great with the Eee PC notebook, it remains to be seen whether these new products will also be a hit with the masses.

ASUS has announced three new notebooks for the budget-minded just in time for the Chinese New Year. Of the three, the lower-priced A8H231Sr-SL is powered by a Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 processor while the other two, A8H57Sr-SL and A8H725Sr-SL, run on Core2Duo processors, although the rest of the specs remain uniform among the trio running an unspecified Linux operating system.

Asus, popularly known for their laptops and notebooks and less known for their mobile phones, has just released the Z802i mobile phone. This is the successor to the Z801. The phone draws attention with its metal and leather materials making it look great and fashionable.

But style is not everything. The phone also packs a punch with its 3G capabilities and its 1.2 inch 260K external display. Furthermore, the phone also features a main 2 mega pixel camera with flash, secondary camera for video calls, internal 2.2 inch 260K QVGA screen and microSD support. The keys are made of chrome and fit well with the design.

The guys over at Modaco have unearthed some interesting news about ASUS M930, which most probably will start shipping in March 2008. Although no E90 killer, the M930 does have some decent specs. The biggest and most significant drawback is its internal screen, which is just a wee bit bigger than the external display. Why ASUS decided to waste so much space inside is anybody's guess.

ASUS has released R700t, a slim GPS portable navigation device, in Taiwan. The R700t PND is loaded with the usual array of GPS features and some more.

The device is just 1.3 cm thick and measures 128x80x13.2 mm, slim indeed. It weighs in at 200 grams and has a 4.3-inch 65k color TFT touchscreen boasting a resolution of 480x272 pixels. Other notable features included are 3D navigation routes, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 1.1, hands-free calling support, traffic message channel, MP3 and video playback, picture browsing, 64MB RAM and 1GB flash-ROM memory with MicroSD expansion up to 4GB. Location Alarm is another nifty feature that reminds you when you are in the vicinity of a particular task you have fed into the PND.

The R700t is available right now in Taiwan at $394.

After the pink 4G Surf EeePC, the Chinese are getting more ASUS goodies like these new F8P notebooks, just in time for the Chinese New Year.

These stylish sleek notebooks aren't just pretty, they also come with a lot of power underneath the hood. The F8P laptops in its two iterations, the F8H75P-SL and F8H725P-SL, come with 14.1-inch screens, a 160GB SATA HDD running at 5400rpm, a DVD Super Multi-Drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 graphics with 256MB VRAM, fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth, and 802.11n WiFi. The F8H75P-SL versions touts Core2Duo T7500 (2.2GHz) processor with 2GB of DDR2 memory while the F8H725P-SL has Core2Duo T7250 (2.0GHz) with 1GB of memory, running Vista Premium and Home respectively. Both are available in graceful white and elegant black hues.

The F8P notebooks can define your style statement or even serve as a mid-range gaming notebook with a price tag of approximately $1500 for F8H75P-SL and $1370 for F8H725P-SL. Availability is China only as of now.

ASUS has released its highly successful EeePC 4G Surf in an exciting pink color. Sure to be a hit with the ladies, this pink version carries the same specs as the other 4G Surf versions. Of note, ASUS had already released it's 2G version in pink earlier last year.

Although it does not boast high hardware specifications, EeePC is known for its easy portability and is aimed at providing a superior mobile computing experience. ASUS is finally bringing the successful P527 smartphone to the United States, its first cellular product to hit North American shores. This GPS-rocking PDA phone bagged the CES Innovative Design and Engineering Award at CES 2008.

The P527 touts an average 2-megapixel camera, 128 MB of internal memory, SiRFStar III chipset GPS, USB support, expandable memory, Bluetooth, and a 65K-color touchscreen TFT of 2.6 inches. All of these play good on the Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional. Sadly missing are WiFi and 3G.

Asus' Eee PC has been quite the hit since its release. All types of news about it have been popping up recently -- from new peripherals to rumored new versions coming out on CES next week. Now, Mobilewhack has come across news that the Eee can play PC games. Below is a video of someone playing GTA Vice City. Members of the eeeuser.com forums have gathered a list of PC games which can be played on the Eee. Aside from the usual PC Games, it has also been said that PlayStation emulators work on the Eee, which means more games for the happy Eee fans.

Come CES, ASUS' wildly successful EeePC might make a comeback, this time much more improved than its predecessor. Rumored updates to the current 701 UMPC are a bigger screen from its current 7 inches to 8.9 inches, Windows instead of Linux, and WiMax in terms of wireless connectivity. Another significant upgrade is a rumored 8GB Flash SSD instead of the current 4GB. But all this would just be speculation until Consumer Electronics Show at Las Vegas next week.

A few months ago, Mobilewhack reported on the portable PC Asus Eee. The name "Eee" was derived from easy to work, easy to learn and easy to play. Well, looks like Asus wants to make things even easier because they just announced the release of various accessories for the Eee PC Mobile.

Designed with business professionals in mind, the new ASUS P550 PDA Phone features an ultra-large 3.5” touch screen for more convenient viewing of online information or documents and GPS navigation.

More importantly, this compact and stylish PDA phone is a relief to users who need strong 3G performance, particularly when they travel to different countries or require high speed data transfers. Connectivity to WCDMA, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS is also a plus factor for this slim silver smartphone.

When it comes to GPS navigation, it is loaded with GPS Catcher to pinpoint the user’s exact location, TMC (Traffic Message Channel) to get the latest weather report and live local traffic information. One of its unique applications is Travelog which enables users to record and share photos, routes, POIs, and memos for future viewing.

The season of giving's not yet over, folks. At least not for Asus China. Asus is giving away gifts for every purchase of a select few of their premium laptops. The promo began last December 21 and would end on January 31, 2008.

• A backpack would be given to anyone who purchases any F8S laptop or the Asus F9Dc.

• An Asus 80 GB leather-bound external HDD will be given to anyone who buys a black-and-white version F8P leather notebook as well as the newly-released U6S.

• Buying an Asus Z37S will mean one would get a Casio watch.

Looks like Asus is going all out. Too bad it's only in China. But maybe in the future, they could organize a worldwide promo -- if and when it becomes economically feasible for them.

The ASUS P750 is a HSDPA handheld operating on the Windows Mobile 6 platform. This GPS cell phone marks its distinction for the absence of QWERTY layout. Bearing a Candy Bar shape the P750 is equipped with a regular numeric keypad, a joystick navigator and some shortcut keys. The mobile features WiFi, SiRFstarIII GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus and 520 MHz CPU. The company has also equipped a second VGA camera above the screen for video calls.

GPS navigation is not one of those things most users consider to be crucial in a PDA-phone, at least not in the same way as features like W-Fi and Bluetooth are. But even though most consider it to be a bonus rather than a requirement, it is surprisingly found in quite a few entry-level devices even when high-end ones give it a miss.

Examples will be devices from Mitac and E-Ten, companies which tend to put a GPS chip into every handset they sell, even the 2.5G ones. Another of these manufacturers is Asus, and a good example is its upcoming P527 handheld.

Like the Asus P525 before it, the P527 comes with a numeric keypad. This makes it easier to punch in phone numbers for dialing and even for keying in text compared to writing on the screen. It also eases in users switching over from regular mobile phones as most of those have numeric keypads as well.

As mentioned earlier, the P527 will come with GPS for navigation. This utilizes the SiRFstar III chip, that we've generally had good experiences with in other devices like the Dopod U1000 and Mitac Mio A501.

Like many other Windows Mobile PDA-phones, the P527 comes with quite a few wireless connectivity features. Granted, it's doesn't have HSDPA or 3G, but all others like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are available. A bonus is the inclusion of an FM tuner.

Other notable features of the P527 are a 2-megapixel autofocus camera, a microSD slot with support for SDHC cards, and a 2.6-inch QVGA display. It is also reasonably compact with a thickness of 15.4mm and weight of 125g.

The Asus P527 will be available in Hong Kong and Taiwan at the end of November. Thereafter, it will be sold in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, India and Turkey.

The next novelty for theASUS company is the Z802i mobile phone. Branding phone draws attention by trimmings of the body (metal and leather) and the strong sapphire glass protecting the screen from scratches. Same as its predecessor Z801i, it has leather case and features a 2.2-inch 260k colors TFT LCD. The keyboard attracts attention with its metal buttons with a notch visually creating effect of volume.

As mentioned, it has a 2,2-inch QVGA with resolution 240?320 pixels. Furthermore, it is equipped with a 2 Megapixel camera with a flash and an auto focus, media player supporting MP3, AAC, MPEG3 and 3GP playback. It supports MPEG4 video recording.

The Z802i comes with Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, and a microSD card slot.
