Dell has released a photo printer that uses Zero-ink technology. The new Dell Wasabi PZ310 Ultramobile Photo Printer accommodates up to 12 sheets of adhesive-backed ZINK Paper, and can connect to a digital camera thru PictBridge or wirelessly to a computer or camera phone via Bluetooth. The Wasabi produces prints measuring 2″ x 3″ (50 x 76.2mm) and this little unit is small enough to fit in a pocket, measuring just 4.8″ x 2.9″ x 0.9″ and weighing 8 oz with the battery.
The 450mAh Li-ion battery can develop 15 prints per charge with prints produced in 55 seconds. If you don’t have Bluetooth, the Wasabi can also be connected using a USB A connector. Note that not every Bluetooth enabled phone will work with the Wasabi Mobile Printer. They need to support the BIP, FTP, or OPP Bluetooth transfer profiles. Retails for around $149.00 from Dell.

While we usually talk about handsets for the general public, we have now some news from the corporate world. HSBC which you might be familiar with from your banking sessions, is apparently considering the idea of getting Apple’s handset.
HSBC might order about 200,000 iPhones for its staff around the world. HSBC has about 300,000 employees around the world and it is reviewing the iPhone from a HSBC perspective. Such a move will mean switching from their current handset provider which is RIM to Apple.
A decision is yet to be taken so stick around for more news. It would be interesting to see how many of HSBC would like this BlackBerry to iPhone switch. And what about other large corporate businesses around the world? Are they also considering similar moves?

Do you remember this guy? What’s his name… Bull-something Steve right? Oh Ballmer, Steve, you say, CEO of Microsoft.
This video on YouTube basically circled Earth quite a few times and lots of people got to make fun of Steve Ballmer and Microsoft trying to laugh at the iPhone. I think it was high time someone replaced him but then again, I am just a blogger.

How much do you like Sony Ericsson phones? How much do you like Madonna? If you answer yes to at least one of them, you might consider trying one of Sony Ericsson’s new phones which will have preloaded songs from Madonna’s last album Hard Candy.
Who’s more desperate to sell their songs? Madonna? I don’t think so! Sony Ericsson? Are we closer? Associating those two brand names might be a successful strategy but I wouldn’t buy my phone just to get some free songs. After all if I want it that much I will buy the CD or songs myself. Kinda like getting an iPhone and then stuffing with lots of iTunes.

That’s right I am presenting a wireless laser printer. I have had my share of mishaps with printers, laser or not, old or new, USB or parallel, you name it. One of the biggest problems when working with multiple devices are cables and cords. To date, Microsoft and Dell have chipped in more than 57 million through their (RED) campaign to the ongoing fight against AIDS in Rwanda, Swaziland, and Ghana. In the same vein, the behemoths have now teamed up again to help customers make a difference in the fight against AIDS in Africa offering (RED) branded high-end products.
These products consist of Dell’s premium XPS One (PRODUCT) RED PC, XPS M1330 and M1530 (PRODUCT) RED notebooks, and the 948 All-In-One (PRODUCT) RED printer. If the pictures on your mobile phone have been collecting dust for half a century, the new Polaroid Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer could change that. The device presents a mobile solution for your photo printing needs. The printer is pocket sized and doesn’t even use ink. How’s that possible, you ask? Well, the product uses ZINK Zero Ink Photo Technology. Meaning, you can only use ZINK photo paper for it. The said photo paper already contains the colors yellow, cyan and magenta. The dyes are colorless before printing. What releases them during the printing process is heat. The printed pics are only a bit bigger than playing cards and they could be printed within seconds. You can connected the printer to your digicams via USB and via Bluetooth to your mobile phones.
Product specs after the jump.
