Designer David Borman has designed and developed a helicopter speed; powerboat- named the Sea Phantom.
Like a cross between a stealth bomber and a submarine with design drawn from NASA research, and the classic Bugatti car: the 64 foot Sea Phantoms cruise at speeds of 150mph, have several state rooms, and have walk accessible wings. Key West to Cuba in 20 minutes.

SONY Japan is set to release on March 16th their newest sound recorder, the SONY stereo IC recorder. There are two models, both the same the only difference is that you will either get 512MB or 1GB of built in memory. The recorder is available in either dark silver or silver and boasts many cool features. This cool new recorder is very versatile and can be used for business meetings, study lessons and recording musical performances from your own instruments. Sony’s new recorder has the same high quality sound recording as that of a CD. You are able to get over 17 hours of recording when it is in the stereo high quality sound. With its large, high sensitivity microphone it is able to record small sounds from a distance with a very clear sound. The IC recorder can also double as an MP3 player which will display the songs ID3 tag info on its lcd screen.

Sony Japan will release a new worldwide AC adaptor, AC-NWUM50 later this month. The device will retail at $29. The device is compatible with Walkman with WM-PORT as well as standard USB port.

Golla has released a new collection that will be on display next week in 3GSM. Golla Mobile bags have been all the rage since they first hit Europe in 2003.
“Mobile phone accessories used to be dominated by products for business users” says GOLLA’s director of sales Bernhard Gerlich, “Golla was the first to realise the huge market potential for fashionable accessories and to create a collection to fill the gap”. The 2006 collection sold 3 million units in over 90 countries around the world, but with 2 billion users this was not the end. It was the end of the beginning.”

Pocketec of Korea is gearing up to launch a new 12GB portable storage device, which makes the 1GB models of yesteryear pale in comparison. The gadget is un-creatively named the “NANO”, which seems to what everyone likes to call their super-small new gadgets these days. At 38 x 38 x 15mm this is a pretty small device, and it is compatible with Window 98/ SE/ ME/ 2000/ 2003 server/ XP/ Vista and MAC OS 8.6 via a USB port. If you like to store a lot of files to use between different computers, don’t trust the new-fangled online storage services and are worried about data recovery, then this might be just what you need.

The iH85 comes with three different inserts allowing you to connect the iPod mini, 4G, 5G and nano models, as well as the photo iPod. Fasten it to your bicycle using the provided mounting clamp. It comes with a remote panel that you can fix on the bicycle’s handle for convenient access.
The remote panel (shown in the image) lets you control the volume, play/pause and forward/rewind.
While no pricing information is available, it the iH85 iPod speaker system just got the FCC’s approval, and it should hit the stores soon.

Sony also released the new Stereo Portable Handsfree HPM-75, which is a follow-up to the successful HPM-70. The HPM-75 was designed to offer you the best possible fit and comes with spare ear buds of varying sizes. You can try out the different sizes to see which one fits most comfortably for you. These high-quality earbuds deliver excellent sound, while blocking out external noise. The HPM-75 also does well for call handling with its built-in microphone and call answer button on th cord. A 3.5mm jack allows for different ear phones to be used, if you so desire. The Sony Stereo Portable Handsfree HPM-75 is available in a metallic finish, and will be available in mid-Q2 2007.

Gotta love the FCC! They always are considerate enough to reveal the secrets of the mysterious tech world! Just check out the Archos 705 Mobile DVR which has been approved by the omnipotent FCC and as the name suggests capitalizes on the popularity of DVR! The Archos 705 Mobile DVR has full Wi-Fi capabilities and some speculate that it has also been equipped with a 7 inch display. Expect more details to suffice in the coming weeks!

The Sony HBH-PV710 is a nice mid-level Bluetooth headset for use with mobile phones. It is very easy to put on, featuring a swiveling ear hook and silver body metallic brown or red covers. The PV710 features talk-time of up to 12 hours, and stand-by time of up to 300 hours. Between your phone calls, if you don’t feel like wearing the headset, you can let it hang around your neck with the included neck strap. The PV710 also features the classic Sony pen-shaped form, which provides superior voice clarity due to having the microphone closer to the mouth. It will be available in Q2 2007.

Sony recently announced the new PC300 Mobile Broadband PC Card, which allows you to take your mobile broadband speed with you wherever you go. The PC300 supports four generations of the world’s most popular cellular wireless technology, including HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, and GPRS. Simply plug the PC card into your laptop, and with the integrated, unobtrusive antenna you can keep the card in your laptop at all times, allowing for a high speed connection wherever you are. Download speeds are available up to 3.6Mbps.
The card’s atntenna is just over 1cm, and is only barely noticeable when the card is in your laptop. To get started, all you have to do is slide in the card and it will automatically detect the wireless technology that is available locally.

This week, D-Link announced a family of 3G mobile broadband wireless routers which were designed with field technicians, mobile professionals, and on-the-go consumers in mind. With thesee new 3G mobile broadband wireless routers, you can share an internet connection virtually anywhere.

With the D-Link 3G Mobile Wireless Routers, you can create an 802.11g/b compatible wireless hotspot anywhere that is within range of a cellular netwrok. Users can plug in a compatible 3G notebook adapter into the D-Link’s built-in card bus slot, for instant access EV-DO, UMTS, or HSDPA networks. Once you’ve done this, you can share the internet signal with other notebooks, PCs, and compatible devices through 802.11g/b WiFi technology.
To avoid unauthorized access and prevent security breaches, the D-Link 3G Mobile Wireless Routers support the latest wireless security features, including WEP, WPA, and WPA2, which secure your wireless connection. The routers also use dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT) to prevent possible attacks.
Compatible ISPs for the D-Link DIR-450 model router include: ACS Wireless, Alltel, Cellular South, Embarq, Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
Compatible ISPs for the D-Link DIR-451 model router include: UMTS carriers include Orangenet, Vodafone, Exelcom and Maxis, and Cingular, T-Mobile, Exelcom, Maxis, Vodafone, Celcom and Globe for HSDPA formats.
