The BMP-900 made by BOL-LINK is pretty similar to a Game Boy Micro, but it has extra features that make it better than the Nintendo gaming device. It can play videos if the files are MPEG4 or AVI, and it supports some known and unknown audio formats such as MP3, WMA, AMR, WAV, ADPCM and PCM.
The BOL-LINK player is also capable of displaying photos which have the JPEG, GIF or BMP, and it has an useful zoom feature so you can take a better look at the desired images.
The best feature on the BMP-900 is certainly the game emulator, which lets you play games by making use of third-party software. The USB port can be used to access data, or to charge the device. In the end you got a gaming device and a portable media player in one product.

After the announcement of the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream bedroom music system for the iPod comes another announcement from Logitech: the new Pure-Fi Anywhere music system, another accessory featuring compact speakers in a portable form factor. The Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers come with a rechargeable battery and a helpful battery indicator. Now with an improved traveling case and redesigned remote control, Logitech claims a 10-hour life on a fully charged battery.
When the iPod is connected to the Universal Dock connector, the Pure-Fi Anywhere continues to play music while charging the iPod battery. The new travel case holds the speakers, a power adapter and the remote. There’s also space for an iPod nano, if you like. The power adapter has also undergone a redesign, and fits snugly into the iPod dock.
Measuring 3.6″ x 13.2″ x 1.5″, it weighs in at just 1.6 pounds, but still manages to deliver quality music through the 2-inch Max-X high excursion drivers with neodymium magnets. To minimize distortion, there’s also 3-inch pressure drivers.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere portable speaker system for the iPod will hit the stores in the US and Europe beginning September, and carries a price tag of US $149.99.

Logitech unveiled its latest iPod accessory, the new iPod Bedroom Music System, designed to put you right to sleep. At least we hope so. The new Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music System for iPod takes on a whole new category of iPod speakers for your bedroom. With new technologies including motion and light sensors, the Pure-Fi Dream is equipped with an integrated AM/FM radio and dual alarm with battery backup.
Not your usual clock radio, the Pure-Fi Dream can easily be controlled even in the dark thanks to backlit control buttons that automatically light up when you wave your hand over the top of the speaker. “But mommy, how can I see the top of the speaker in the dark?” It’s where the sound is coming from, dummy. Once you are done with your changes, the buttons dim automagically. With its 3/4-inch high-definition soft-dome tweeters and 3-inch high power woofers, there’s also Logitech’s StereoXL technology that delivers a wider soundfield for enhanced listening experience.
The snooze button (everyone’s favorite, I assume) takes on an interesting look. There’s no button! You simply wave a hand over the speakers to sleep for a few more precious minutes. Well, I lied about there being no button - there is one tactile button on the top of the system. The display on the system features auto-adjusting brightness, so you can read it in daylight or in the dark without problem. A remote control comes with the Pure-Fi Dream.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream bedroom music system for the iPod will hit the stores this November for US $249.99.

Reports have circulated that Cowon’s iAudio X5 MP3 player will soon be discontinued. However, all is not lost since reports have been released that a new Cowon MP3 player is in the works. Early reports states that Cowon will release an iAudio X7 model sometime this summer during the IFA 2007 Electronics Expo.
Rumors have led us to this picture (shown here) claiming to be the prototype design submitted back in March, so it’s possible the final product won’t be identical. However, judging from this, the X7 will be completely different from the X5. Instead of a vertical orientation with a 4:3 screen, it appears the X7 will have a 7-inch widescreen and likely feature touchscreen controls, similar to the Q5 media player.
Whatever it looks like, hopefully Cowon will keep with its tradition of creating MP3 players with outstanding sound quality and give the X5 fans something to cheer about. The X5 has enjoyed a loyal following since it debuted in 2005, due partly to its excellent sound quality. There’s no word on exactly what the X7 has in store - all we can do is wait.

There should be plenty of different MP3 players on the market to please plenty of different people and their unique taste. And that is probably the reason for Coby to present a cheap MP3 player codenamed MP-C582. In case you didn’t mention the clip name, there is also a clip function on the device, similar to the latest iPod shuffle (v2).
The Coby MP-582 Clip Player only supports two types of music files - MP3 and WMA. There is only one option for the storage capacity, which is 1GB. Like it happens with other MP3 players, this one can also be used to store and transfer important files instead of being a player only.
