Remember that application that Apple fortunately pulled from the AppStore before anymore dimwits decided to try it for just $999.99? One of the eight people who bought the application decided to put up a guided tour of the highly expensive application for us to see if they got their money’s worth. From the video, it sure looks like he got enough sarcasm to last a lifetime and a little boost of self-confidence every now and then, even if it cost him a thousand dollars. The guy says he is readying a cracked version, so be sure to try it whenever it’s available sans the unbelievable price tag, of course!

Verizon customers have been waiting for Visual Voicemail to arrive for quite a while now. Sure you would need a good smartphone to take advantage of the whole Visual Voicemail concept but now it’s all possible.

Verizon has launched their Visual Voicemail and they have support for a single handset so far, the LG Voyager. More smartphones will surely follow as Verizon is competing against Sprint on this one. Sprint had the service running from before on smartphones like the Samsung Instinct.

With the 3G iPhone release, Verizon might need its Visual Voicemail to keep their customers still hooked on Verizon’s plans. And if they do manage to bring the Thunder from RIM this fall as it’s been rumored, they might just find themselves in a much better position to compete against AT&T or Sprint.

Psystar Rolls out the Big Guns

I guess this is for all Apple haters out there. Psystar, or the company selling PC with Mac OS, has called Carr & Ferrell, or the lawyers that already managed to squeeze $10 million from Apple and $60 million from Microsoft in similar cases before, to defend them against Apple, or the company pissed off at Psystar. Well pissed enough to sue Psystar for all they’ve got.

It looks like the copy paste function is the holy grail of all iPhones so far. How could this simple, daily feature have been overlooked for the second year in a row? MagicPad is an upcoming store application destined to be a success. I think a bunch of developers have been thinking about creating an application which will hint a copy paste version which the rest of us can use until master Steve Jobs decides to implement one in the next iPhone.

Here’s a rather displeasing rumor following Steve’s Ballmer’s wet dream of developing a Zune Phone. Some sources claim that Nokia will carry Zune content. Why in the world would anything like that happen? Nokia is the leader of cell phone manufacturers across the world. They have a well established market share that’s growing each quarter. They have their own Symbian OS which not only will improve in the future but it’s also rumored to merge with Google’s Android.

Word around the street is that Google’s Android and Nokia’s Symbian are going to merge. Merge into what may I ask? Why would Nokia, kings of the cell phones business so far, operating handsets on their own Symbian OS which is going open by the way, want to mingle with Google’s Android, an OS we have talked much about without actually getting nothing good in return. There are millions of Symbian devices working out there while there’s a maybe Android phone or device for later this year.
