It looks like the iPhone app technology is stepping in the growing problem of sleep apnea as Remote Analysis Ltd. announces the release of the Sleep Aid for the iPhone. This app records and analyzes snoring and sleep apnea and is quite easy to use. All you have to do is place your iPhone by your bedside, open the app and click record while you sleep and then browse when you wake up the graph of the night time based recording.

The Sleep Aid app even comes with sample audio clips of regular snoring and sleep apnea where you can compare and determine if you do have a serious sleep apnea problem. The app is now available at the iPhone App Store for € 2.39.

Flying Without Fear iPhone app

For those who are afraid of flying, iPhone has a solution with a Flying without Fear course. This app is made to help the user face their acrophobia with frequently asked questions, an explanation of the flight process, as well as relaxation exercises.

Whoopi Goldberg endorses this app, who says that it cured her. The app itself is said to have a whopping 98 percent success rate which just seems way too high. Anyway, it is available for $4.99 at the App Store, along with the nice bonus of 2,000 Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles.

AT&T has just announced their intentions to launch a whole slew of new features on November 8th. The first is an all new voicemail-to-text service which will, of course, change your voicemails into text messages making it easier for you to catch that number or name.

Second of all AT&T is planning to launch their Nation with Canada plans which will allow you customers to make calls between Canada and the US with no long distance charges.

And last but not least they will be launching 3 new channels for their Mobile TV service which we have little to no details about. Luckily, they will be dropping the base cost of the service from $15 to $9.99 and the unlimited service from $30 to $24.99.

Here’s an interesting iPhone app that will let you help out with other apps. This is Chorus, an App Store app that will aid in recommending apps to fit the user’s needs.

Unlike the Apple’s native App Store app, this doesn’t have a “top” list based on overall downloads. Chorus is designed to work in chorus with apps that have been recommended by other Chorus users.

I think we all remember the memory card movies for the PSP, a format that is sadly dead. There has been a lot of talk that DVDs and Blu-rays are on their way out, and that all digital formats will take their place.

Perhaps another step was taken today as Kingston and Paramount have teamed up to put movies on flash memory sticks. They started with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 4GB Kingston DataTraveler for $29.99, with no word of when others will be available. Surely there are better Paramount films to put on memory sticks then this one!

It’s no secret that the iPhone doesn’t support Flash and most likely won’t until Apple decides to lift the restriction. However, some people evidently have been thinking it was Adobe’s fault that there is no Flash on the iPhone, as you can see from the above picture.

Of course, Adobe isn’t exactly getting angry at Apple but they are telling consumers exactly what they need to know; Flash won’t be on the iPhone until Apple says it can.
