Palm Centro 2 Million Units Sold

Palm Centro is reported to have surpassed the 2 million sold units barrier. How is that compared to Apple’s iPhone sales? Who is going to win an iPhone vs Palm competition?

Provided Palm will continue to update their OS and launch better Centros, they are likely to continue to sell lots of handsets too. Maybe not as many as Apple which appears to learn more and more things about the mobile business and even reinvent it in some cases.

AdMob statistics shows that more mobile ads are served to Palm devices than iPhones, whether we are talking worldwide or USA. Of course Palm has been selling phones for far longer than Apple has but the battle is about to begin.

Looking at both phones, the iPhone seems to have a little advantage at this time, with all the buzz going around it. Palm Centro is still going to be a worthy adversary and its fans will be waiting for lots of upgrades, including touchscreens, but not only.

So congrats to Palm for now, but we’re expecting more!

Motorola is still selling phones, despite popular belief. It appears Apple is taking more and more steps to improve our iPhone buying experience. Apple stores will open at 8AM, two hours earlier than regular. They are also adding staff to diminish wait times. That’s all great Apple, but say I come in the store to ask about the new MacBook Touch. Can I do that from 8AM or would I be required to wait until after 10AM?

Released today, the Q1U-CMXP has an HSDPA 3G integrated cellular modem , and the Q1UP-V which is an Ultra Premium Q1 with preinstalled Vista Business. I understand the need for new.
