Toshiba has just released 2 models Satellite notebooks, P205D-S7479 and P205D-S7438. Both of them comes with 17-inch widescreen LCD and base on AMD processor.

The new Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7479 features 2.2Ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-64 processor, 250GB hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 graphics card with 256MB memory which support 1440 x 900 resolution , up to 4GB memory RAM,dual layer DVD burner, a/g/n wireless, webcam, microphone and bundle with Windows Vista.

On the other hand, the new Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7438 comes with similiar specification but S7438 support 1.9GHz Athlon 64 X2 TK-55 chip, , ATI Radeon Xpress X1200M and 160GB hard drive. Both of Toshiba notebooks now avaiable for $1350 and $850.

Voodoo has just presented the upgrade of their M:151 notebook, the ENVY M:152. The 152 is the first Voodoo laptop to get the Intel Core 2 Duo chipset, and can even handle the Intel Core 2 Extreme mobile processor X7800 Extreme CPU.

The new system also comes with a 2.0MP camera in place of the 151’s 1.3MP, plus a fingerprint reader. Oddly enough, the 15.4″ screen’s resolution is down a tad: the 151 had 1680×1200, while the 152 has 1680×1050. It also weighs more: 7 lbs, instead of the 151’s 6lbs.

Naturally, the 152 supports DirectX 10 and has NVIDIA’s GeForce 8600GT 512MB graphics card.

Toshiba announced the new Toshiba Satellite A215 notebook computer, featuring AMD’s latest mobile dual-core processors including the Turion 64 X2 Gold Edition and Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor. The Satellite A215 is equipped with ATI Radeon X1200 graphics. One of the higher end models in the A215 series, the Satellite A215-S7472, boasts an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 graphics card with 128 megs of memory for better aming and graphics.

The series also includes a serial-ATA hard drive (with capacities up to 250GB), a DVD SuperMulti drive and 15.4 inch diagonal widscreen TruBrite display. Certain configurations in the Satellite A215 series also come with 1.3 megapixel webcam, Labelflash technology and Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 for Toshiba.

The Toshiba Satellite A215 configurations are now available.

Sony has just released two new VAIO notebooks, the Type L VGC-LT80DB and the Type A VGN-AR74DB. These models features a blu-ray disc drive and will be available on October 6th 2007.

The VGC-LT80DB is available with 22, 15.5 and a 19 inch sizes. It comes built in with a 1.3 megapixel camera and is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Other than this, the notebook features a wide array of multimedia functionalities that will blow your mind.

The VGN-AR74DB on the other hand features a 1,440×900 pixel resolution. It also comes in with a Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz) processor with 2GB memory. In addition, it comes equipped with a 320GB HDD. This notebook will be available in October 13th.

Sony Electronics has unveiled a new line of fashionable entry-level PCs. This will be one of the lowest priced notebook that the company has ever released, priced at about $750. The VAIO NR series feature a textured chassis with a comfortable, fabric-like feel that is pleasing to the eye and cool to the touch. Their slim, modern design incorporates rounded corners and beveled edges, making them easier to insert and remove from carrying cases when on-the-go.

The NR models feature a 15.4-inch widescreen display with XBRITE-ECO LCD technology, which delivers razor-sharp details and crisp, bold colors. The PCs also incorporate an Intel Core2 Duo processor for fast processing speeds, longer battery life and enhanced wireless computing. The units come pre-installed with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.

The PC’s built-in 802.11 a/b/g wireless LAN enables wireless connectivity to home networks or hotspots at airports, hotels or cafes for quick access to the Internet and e-mail.

The new series is available in three colors: Wenge — a rich brown with copper accents; silk — a bright white with a matte finish; and granite — a silver hue with natural tones. Acer today presented two new notebook families – Aspire 7520 and Aspire 5520 – designed to combine the needs of both home users and creative professionals looking for a multi-purpose notebook with strong entertainment and multitasking capabilities.

To start with, both platforms feature Dolby Home Theater for truly enhanced virtual surround sound. The high-fidelity sound effects can be fine-tuned via eAudio Management, a module of Acer’s Empowering Technology that provides a single interface to manage the notebook’s sound capability with specialized modes for movies, music and games.

The 12-inch widescreen laptops fall under the MSI PR210 YA Edition series, available in Denim Blue, Coral Pink and Lime Green. Kensington unveiled its new sd200v notebook docking station with video, allowing users to connect speakers, VGA display and up to five USB peripherals to their laptops. The dock essentially enables multi-monitor computing, letting you use both the laptop display and a secondary display saving space on your desktop. The USB connectivity lets you connect a bigger keyboard/mouse (unless you use the Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave keyboard/mouse combo).

The sd200v falls in Kensington’s Connect It line of notebook accessories. It also features the SmartFit adjustment system that lets you achieve an optimal monitor height in seconds.

Sony is proud to introduce a notebook specifically designed exclusively for business and office users. This is Sony’s first ever notebook to use the Santa Rosa Processor by Intel. It has undergone several changes and modifications from other notebook produced by Sony.

Of course, as mentioned, it untilizes Intel’s Santa Rosa Chipset. This new Sony Vaio has a Dual Core T7250, 2 GHz processor. It has a 2GB DDR2 memory clocking in at 667MHz and a 120GB SATA hard drive which is very powerful at 5400 rpm. The laptop is also equipped with an integrated Intel GMA x3100 with 358MB of memory. It has a 15.4 inches screen with a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution.

Other features for this new Sony notebook is its Gigabit Wireless adapter and 3 USB 2.0 slot. It also has a VGA, Firewire, ExpressCard card reader.

Wyse Technology has introduced two new thin computing notebook, the X90 and X90. These thin clients aren’t like your traditional laptop. The Wyse X90 utilizes VMware(R) Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI), Citrix Application Delivery and Microsoft Windows Terminal Server data centers to display applications due to the lack of a hard drive. Without local storage, all file and applications will be better protected from data theft and viruses.

Sporting no hard drive or fan, both X90 and X90e thin client notebooks have no moving parts to enable silent operation with superior reliability. The X90 series is powered by a VIA C7-M ULV 1.2GHz and is running the latest version of Microsoft Windows XPe. LG has announced its latest series of laptop, called the XNOTE E200 notebook. The laptop is targeted towards the young generation.

The E200-series sports a 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of memory, 1.3 megapixel webcam, super multi-drive DVD, and HDMI-out standard while being one of the first batch of laptops to pack a 120GB hybrid hard disk (HHD) with 256MB of flash.
