HP Compaq Presario CQ61Z laptop

The CQ61Z is just another HP Compaq laptop that belongs to the Presario line. It was recently announced by HP and it can feature various processors, be it an AMD Sempron single core M100, or an ADM dual core CPU (M300, M320, and more).

ATI is responsible for the graphics department with its HD 4200, but I bet the 4GB of DDR3 memory will also be a good help. The display screen measures 15.6-inches, and the hard-drive space can go up to 500GB. The default model comes with a DVD burner but you can opt for a Blu-ray drive.

Other features of the HP Compaq Presario CQ61Zinclude a VGA output, HDMI as optional, and Windows 7 Home Premium as the OS.

    Disposable Paper Laptop Concept

The technology to build disposable paper laptops is not quite here yet but the concept is pretty interesting. The laptop in the picture is made entirely of recyclable paper, which seems to be the easy part. More complicated however would be the technology under the cardboard necessary to run the device.

And since it’s a disposable laptop we would also need to be able to recycle the paper laptop fast and without any unwanted waste. The computer would be made of different layers which can be replaced whenever they get damaged so you wouldn’t have to throw it right away. Instead you would be able to keep using it while recycling the damaged materials.

The concept laptop is not available anywhere at this point, but we’d certainly love to play with one.
