BlueAnt Wireless unveiled its latest Blutooth headset called the Z9. The Z9 made waves at CES 2007, having won an award for innovative design there. The Z9 features dual microphones and is available in a stylish design. Voice Isolation Technology, a BlueAnt patented technology, helps in noise reduction.
Voice Isolation can separate voice signal from ambient noise, isolating all frequencies that affect voices coming into and out of the headset and suppressing those unwanted ones. This also helps in wind noise reduction and echo cancellation. There are even two voice isolation modes - a Standard mode for day-to-day environments for natural sounding voice and a Max mode for superior voice clarity in extreme noise environments.
The Z9 Bluetooth headset weighs in at 0.35 oz and measures 1.5″ in length - making it one of the smallest headsets. A translucent ear hook is provided to wear it on the ear; it can also be clipped on to a shirt or cuff.
Priced at US $99.95, the Z9 is now available.

SteelSeries have announced their latest headset system called SteelSeries Siberia Neckband Headset, which is suppose to be the first ?circumaural neckband headset? made for gamers. While the device has given plenty of attention to the computer users, the same can be said about MP3 player users who will look very stylish while using the headset.
The Siberia Neckband can be considered as an upgrade of the previous Siberia Full-Size that was launched three years ago during 2004, it has received some upgrades but it maintains the white color which is their preferred one. A new addition is the pull-out microphone, a first one on Siberian models.
There were some interesting factors while trying to perfect the product, such as professional gamers being involved in the development and adjustments; and DJs fine-tuning the audio part. The Siberia Neckband Headset will be available in the upcoming months, for now there is no information about the price.

With the iPhone hype being as big as possible, there are always companies dedicated to make products for that specific Apple phone. With that being said, Altec Lansing has presented a couple of new headphones called ?Upgrader Series? that can be perfect for almost any person, but there are some special models dedicated for the iPhone: the UHS 302, 306 and 307 all have that special characteristic - gold plated 1/4-inch (3.5mm) four-band connector. On top of being iPhone compatible, they also include a built-in microphone, a volume control, and a mute button for the microphone.
If you are not into the new cellphone hype, there are other headphones alternatives offered by Altec Lansing. The UHP 306 and UHP 336 for example, are made for the audio fanatics that enjoy very good sound with no noise coming from the exterior, that is why they feature a SnugFit design. The old headphones style (over-the-ear) is also present thanks to UHP 405 and UHP 408, these two models have surround sound and an active noise-cancellation feature. Among the new headphones there is still the UHP 302 and 303 which target the casual listeners.
No information about the price, but keep an eye on AltecLansing during August.

Check out the new line-up of Bluetooth headset from Korea-based Ubixon. The Ubixon UBHS-PH2 is a headset with a difference: apart from supporting Bluetooth+2.0 EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), the UBHS-PH2 is also capable of delivering visual information, including SMS and song titles.
Another distraction while you are driving, I guess. The UBHS-PH2 shows information in the form of icons and text - which is kinda hard to read when speeding on the highway. The main screen display is sunlight readable as well.
Powered by Qualcomm MEMS display technology, the UBHS-PH2 does not require backlighting, as well as lower the power consumption.
No word on the pricing, but it should be available soon.

Kyocera has a stylish new Bluetooth headset depending on how you look at it. The photos at least reveal a snug fit on the ear, and looks more suitable for someone riding a bike than a car.
The headset, identified by its FCC ID RQ5KBH010B-9-LF for the HAMG SHING models KBH010B-9-LF and KBH010B-11-LF (I’m guessing one for the right ear, and another for the left, but it’s a wild one), has been approved by the FCC
No word on the pricing yet, but the Bluetooth headset should hit the markets soon.

Ever since its launch way back in may the headset has garnered some attention. Sony Ercisson’s new DS980 quite easily goes into ‘must have’ list. It is one headset which definitely makes listening to music and taking calls a quality experience. Designed stylishly it delivers a thump in your ears when listening to the music and at the same time gives a crystal clear voice when you are making and listening to calls. The headset gets Sony’s trademark ‘in-ear-phone’ design and also they’ve incorporated a Digital noise cancellation/echo reduction technology to reduce background noise.
The Charcoal casing and the hidden OLED display go hand in hand and makes for quite an impressive package. That apart, the AFH(Adaptive Frequency Hopping) reduces the impact of interference between wireless technologies, resulting in excellent audio quality. Another interesting feature is the Automatic volume adjustment, which adjusts volume automatically as soon as you walk into a noisy environment in less than a second. Other features include Auto pairing and Talk/standby/music time of 6/300/6 hours.
No word on the pricing and availability as yet. The caption “coming soon” is still visible in the Sony Ericsson website.
