Do you remember when HTC announced that their sleek new user interface dubbed Sense would only be made available for phones without the “with Google” branding? Well it looks like some Italian hackers weren’t pleased with this and decided to take maters into their own hands.
Featured in the above video is a T-Mobile G1 running HTC’s Sense UI and from the looks of it is relatively smooth. Other than Sense’s obvious graphic enhancements this hack will actually enable the G1’s multitouch, a feature that was not enabled out of the box.
Ths hack came about by the Italian group of hackers flashing their G1 with what they are calling the SuperHERO ROM.

T-Mobile has two hot phones coming in July, the HTC Dash 3G and the HTC Touch Pro2 and it has planned a few special events to show off the new phones. Nothing special about that or so it would seem. But T-Mobile is going to give away a free HTC Dash 3G to everyone attending the events. Sounds like you should definitely go, right? So here’s where you need to be:
July 14 - San Francisco, CA
July 15 - Chicago, IL
July 16 - Los Angeles, CA
July 21 - Arlington, VA
July 22 - Houston, TX
July 23 - Atlanta, GA
July 28 - Fort Lauderdale, FL
In case you’re interested in just buying one of the two handsets, the Dash 3G is arriving on July 15 while the Touch Pro2 is expected to be available on July 22. We’ll need some pricing details and some confirmation from T-Mobile but we’ll let you know if the dates change.

We’ve already seen that leaked Motorola Morrison wearing T-Mobile’s logo and today we get confirmation of the fact that T-Mobile is going to launch a Motorola Android smartphone later this year. The Wall Street Journal is also saying that Verizon will be offering a Motorola Android phone to its customers sometime this year. The phone will be similar to the Morrison although there are no concrete details about it. The Calgary, rumored earlier this year, is also a potential Android-based phone coming to Verizon. We’ll just have to do some waiting to see what Motorola has done with its Android phones.

We’ve been waiting for T-Mobile to launch its second Android phone and today is the day when the myTouch 3G becomes official. Getting passed that weird name we can tell you that the phone will be available in T-Mobile stores starting this August although you can pre-order it from July 8th for just $199 with a two-year new contract.
And let’s take a look at the features of the new myTouch 3G phone:
T-Mobile is promising some unique applications for the myTouch 3G and we’ll tell you all about them once the phone becomes available.

The Morrison in the picture here is one of Motorola’s future Android phone. It’s not official yet but it has been already leaked to the Internet. What we know so far is that it comes with a big enough touchscreen and a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard. The phone will probably be one of T-Mobile’s future Android smartphones but we’ll wait for some official press releases before we can confirm any of this. As you can see in the picture, T-Mobile’s logo is present in the right corner of the screen but it could be all fake stuff. Rumors say we’re going to see the Morrison emerge sometime by the end of the year so in case you want an Android Motorola phone you’re going to have to wait quite a while.

In case you already took advantage of the Unlimited Loyalty Plan from T-Mobile then you have nothing to worry about. But if you didn’t then you should definitely sign up for it as soon as possible. Why you ask? Well it seems that T-Mobile wants to discontinue this Loyalty Plan starting with July.
Those of you that have an excellent history with T-Mobile, and we do mean those that paid the bills on time, can get the Unlimited Loyalty Plan. For $50 you will get unlimited monthly minutes and for $25 you will have unlimited data. Doesn’t that sound good enough? Well make sure you do get it by the end of the month just in case T-Mobile does cancel it.

It’s crazy I know, but instead of actually announcing the next Android phone available, T-Mobile has just confirmed that next week the phone will be announced. Wait, we’ve actually seen that happen with other carriers so why should it bother us now?
A company spokesperson had this to say about the second Android phone coming from T-Mobile:
Next week, T-Mobile will share more details about its next Android-powered phone, the follow-on device to the T-Mobile G1 with Google.
It was about time T-Mobile announced the myTouch 3G (or however they want to call it) since the Pre and the iPhone have already been unleashed from their cages. The spokesman hasn’t actually mentioned the name of the phone or any of its features but according to rumors it has to be the HTC handset we’re expecting. What do you say folks? What do you pick between Android, webOS or iPhone 3.0?

T-Mobile has a new hot phone scheduled for this summer. HTC’s Dash 3G is coming this July and besides the obvious HSDPA 3G connectivity and the full QWERTY keyboard it will come with features like WiFi, GPS, Microsoft Outlook sync and Windows Mobile 6.1 running the show. T-Mobile didn’t announce a certain date but July 15 is a popular rumored date. And we don’t have prices either but we should expect this handset to be fairly affordable considering what’s available from the competition at this time.
Travis Warren, director, product marketing said:
As millions of families prepare to hit the road this summer, T-Mobile is offering our first 3G-enabled Windows Mobile smartphone to help customers stay connected, organized and traveling in the right direction. We’re excited to offer the power and style of the T-Mobile Dash 3G with high-speed Internet access thanks to T-Mobile’s rapidly expanding 3G network.

Despite Apple keeping the iPhone 3G S‘ hardware pretty effectively under wraps, it seems that T-Mobile Netherlands didn’t get the memo and posted up the above picture.
As you can see, the iPhone 3G S’ processor has been bumped up from 412MHz (found in the 3G) to 600MHz. As for the RAM, it’s been increased from the 3G’s 128MB to 256MB. Everything else, we already knew, 3MP camera with autofocus, video camera, 32GB capacity etc.
So, it looks like Apple’s claims of everything being at least 2x faster hold true at least judging from the hardware. We’ll have to wait until we get our hands on the phone to pass judgement.

Although not officially available just yet the Samsung Bigfoot is definitely out there somewhere. The question is, does it resemble the phone in the picture above? Earlier today we notified you that T-Mobile had been hacked and customer data was taken from the provider’s network. Well, T-Mobile has again stepped in to elaborate on the situation calming customers down another notch:
The document in question has been determined to be a T-Mobile document though there is no customer information contained in the document. There is no evidence to indicate that the T-Mobile security system was hacked into nor any evidence of a breach.
Despite this rep saying the system wasn’t hacked or breached, the hackers still managed to get some data from the T-Mobile network so how exactly they got it we haven’t a clue.
Let’s see how this one unfolds.

It looks like T-Mobile suffered yesterday a possible security breach. While everyone was watching the iPhone presentation some crazy guys decided to steal some data. That’s customers data if you’re wondering but T-Mobile says that the stolen data will not jeopardize them:
Regarding the recent claim on a Web site, we’ve identified the document from which information was copied and believe possession of this alone is not enough to cause harm to our customers.
What else do you expect them to tell you? That you’re in danger of losing all that’s left in your bank account? It looks like T-Mobile’s hackers tried to sell the data to T-Mobile competitors and when that didn’t work they put it up for auction. The highest bidder will get, or has already gotten, all that data. T-Mobile had data theft problems in the past if I’m not mistaken! What will happen next?

It’s no wonder T-Mobile is cutting down prices now as the Pre and the new iPhone get closer and closer. The company is prepared to offer quite a few cheaper phones and you should definitely take advantage of the offer especially if you’re not keen on buying a Pre or an iPhone. Even better, T-Mobile is going to cancel mail-in rebates too which is another great news.
And here are all those handsets you can choose from:

Not to be confused with the other Dash that we have come across recently, the long-awaited HTC Dash 3G has shown its face again. With the rumored launch at the CTIA turning out to be a no-show, we now have news that the Maple will fall on T-Mobile street on July 1st. We have already brought you a few specs that have leaked including its 2.4-inch QVGA display, 128MB RAM, 256MB RAM, a fast 528MHz Qualcomm processor to power its Windows Mobile operating system, although the flavor of included OS is still debatable. At any rate, we’ll only have to wait another month to find out more.

A placeholder which is apparently reserved for a 32GB iPhone (taken down now) has appeared on the Austrian T-Mobile website. While this may not be complete confirmation, it does validate some of the rumors that have been circulating on the interweb of 32GB space in the next version, and come to think of it, a higher storage capacity seems just natural progression. Going by what has been uncovered until now, the next-gen iPhone will has a slightly better camera with a 3.2 megapixel lens with autofocus, a faster 600MHz CPU, and RAM doubled up to 256MB, pretty much what we could have dreamed up, let alone the Apple thinktank. We only have to wait till next month to find out we have been hearing the right murmurs.
