Sprint is really interested in selling the Pixi at any cost. In fact it would seem that the carrier has forgotten one important fact about the new Palm webOS phone: the Pixi lacks WiFi support which is a pretty annoying thing in the first place. But Sprint is announcing the fact that the Pixi is “WiFi capable.” As much as we’d like to imagine that the Pixi will arrive with WiFi support, that will not be the case this time. Maybe the future webOS Palm phone will offer WiFi but the Pixi won’t be able to sport such capabilities. So, Sprint, what do you have to say in your defense?

It’s no secret that the iPhone doesn’t support Flash and most likely won’t until Apple decides to lift the restriction. However, some people evidently have been thinking it was Adobe’s fault that there is no Flash on the iPhone, as you can see from the above picture.

Of course, Adobe isn’t exactly getting angry at Apple but they are telling consumers exactly what they need to know; Flash won’t be on the iPhone until Apple says it can.

Now that Microsoft has updated their mobile version of Bing, it would appear that Verizon is pushing this version of Bing onto the BlackBerry Storm.

Unfortunately, a recent report complained that this BlackBerry version of Bing was “slow and unresponsive”. This is one of several apps being “pushed” onto the Storm which includes YouTube, VZW Tones, V Cast Video, and a Verizon version of Slacker Radio. Perhaps BlackBerry users can learn to warm up to Bing.

TAG Heuer has said that their latest mobile, the limited edition MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone, is “inspired” by the famous Italian sports car, but I don’t really see the resemblance. This phone has the famed signature on the battery cover, which matches the signature on the Lamborghini’s Murcielago LP 640’s V12 engine block.

In addition to that, it has a 1.9 inch display made from 60.5 carats of scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The battery life is good for seven hours of talk time and 28 days of standby power. It also has a media player and 2 megapixel camera.

If you want one, then you should know that there are only 1963 available. Why that number? Because that is when this first type of dream car was available. I have no word on the price, but it must be pretty expensive.

  • BlackBerry owners will be happy to hear that RIM is interested to hire a “WebKit Developer.” That means the Canadian company is considering developing a totally new mobile browser. It’s actually not a secret anymore as RIM did purchase Torch Mobile a while ago, which happens to be the company that created the WebKit-based Iris browser. Apparently that’s not enough and RIM needs a more qualified WebKit developer to help out with the cause. A new browser for the BlackBerry OS will definitely be a blessing so if you happen to have the needed skills then go ahead and apply for the job! We’ve been waiting for a new mobile Internet browser for BlackBerry smartphones for too long now.

The Jibbigo app should be something handy to have along especially for travelers who have to deal with some language barriers. Translation is a key necessity for some people and with the use of their iPhone and this translating app, live could be easier and clearer for them. The app is the Jibbigo app which can translate spoken English dialects into Spanish and vice-versa. However it can only record and translate one sentence in a time which may still need some effort on the iPhone owner’s part. But it is better than not understanding one another at all!

The Jibbigo app is now available and retails for $24.99.
