LG KP320 Cell Phone

zn2.jpgLG has just released a new fashion-orientated phone called the KP320. Is a mid-range phone that comes in with a handful of features that would easily attract users who can’t really afford a too expensive phone.

Measuring 107 x 46 x 13.5 millimeters and weighing only 81 grams, LG KP320 is a candybar phone that comes with a very nice overall look. In terms of network connectivity, the new LG only offers support for tri-band GSM networks (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), hence no 3G speeds for Web browsing.

Other specs include a 3.2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, flash, digital zoom and video recording, a camera that should be able to offer photos at a pretty good quality. Furthermore, LG KP320 comes with a 2 inch TFT display with 262k colors support and a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, TV out, Music and video player (MP3, AAC, AMR, WAV and MPEG-4 supported), FM radio, Bluetooth, USB, Internet and email capabilities, document viewer, speakerphone, 80 MB of internal memory and microSD card support for an extra of up to 4 GB.

  • LG Vu Phone Reviewed

Laptop Magazine wrote a pretty nice review on the LG Vu and have given the phone a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5.

They consider it a poor mimacry to the iPhone, the touch screen interface is good and the keyboard needs some amendment, but the product is worth its price. Hence, Yes, it can be a good substitute for those who can not afford a iPhone.

Agreed, that it has features AT&T’s Mobile TV and 3G data speeds, which are unavailable on iPhone, but it does not have a Wi-Fi, visual voicemail or multi-touch gestures. Neither the touchscreen nor multimedia functionality is up to the competitive level.

Look at the Pixilated video and get annoyed. Hey! I have already developed a dislike for this cell phone. I don’t know why. But you can check out the post-mortem of the cell phone performed at Laptop Magazine.

LG-SH240a.jpgThe new LG-SH240 3G HSDPA slider cell phone’s selling point is not its 3G or its HSDPA capabilities, but it’s unusual texture. The LG-SH240 cell phone actually feels like skin. I don’t know why anyone would want their cell phones to feel like human skin, but LG seems to think it’s a good idea. The texture came from a design using silicon which is used on the front panel including the directional buttons, keypad, and menu. The LG-SH240 comes with SK Telecom Korea’s MONETA service, 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, video telephony, and Bluetooth connectivity. The cell phone will sell for approximately US$400 in the Korea market.
