Computing is no longer restricted to the adults lately. Even the kids are getting into the act. And for some, operating the standard mouse or keyboards we all use may somewhat be harder due to size and design. However, for the parents who really want to entice their kids to learn about the computer, here are some ergonomically designed mice from Mylilmouse.com. These new computer mice for kids boast of a patented squeeze technology to complement their unique size made for kids.
And to add some fun, they even light up each time they are clicked which should appeal more to the little tykes. They are now available in 2 colors, light blue and pink though more colors are expected to come out. You can get more information here.

Well, folks, the bad news is that you got introduced to the cream of the crop yesterday when I covered the performance models from V7. Now, we get a slightly less functional brand…but only slightly.
The A320S-E5 speakers are powered by USB, so they don’t require a second outlet to plug into. This is definitely a nice touch, and it’s really interesting to note that I put these two models literally side by side playing the EXACT SAME THING (a YouTube of Weird Al’s video One More Minute), and I couldn’t hear a perceptible difference. Al’s crooning came across almost identically from the USB to the external powered speakers. Then, when I hooked up my splitter jack, there wasn’t a difference. The sound is VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL, and that blows my mind.
And, just for extra fun…these speakers cost just fifteen dollars. This kind of performance is yours for literally a minimum of cash. In fact, it’s hard to distinguish any real difference between the performance model at nearly twice the price and these. If you want simple and easy in your speakers, well, here you go.

It seems like the craze for ebook readers isn’t over yet, and to prove that point BenQ decided to present the nReader K60 which is intended for the Taiwanese market.
The BenQ nReader K60 boasts 3G functionality and also WiFi, which is pretty good for everyone that wants to stay up to date with the latest book releases. In terms of features it boasts a 6-inch touchscreen with 800×600 as the resolution, and includes a USB 2.0 interface, a slot for microSD memory cards, a 3.5 audio jack, and a MP3 player.
One of the unusual but good details on the BenQ nReader K60 is the inclusion of Japanese comics.

First there was the USB alien, and now there is the USB Yoda. If you plug it in to your USB port, it will light the lightsaber and its cheeks will illuminate like its blushing.
Granted, I don’t remember any scene from the six Star Wars movies where Yoda blushed, but this looks like the Yoda from that Clone Wars show, which is a whole different mutant animal from Lucas.
Only available in Japan is this. Pre-order it, you can, from Geek Stuff 4 U for $65.52.

You should be able to purchase it for about $80 on the Twelvesouth website. It doesn’t look like it will work for the PC, so I wouldn’t try.

I have been happily enjoying a sweet pair of speakers sent to me by the crew out at V7 for the last couple days now, and I’ll tell you this much, these are flatly awesome.
The V7 A320Ps are computer speakers designed to easily hook to your laptop or desktop by plugging directly into your computer’s headset jack. They also have to be plugged into an outlet as they’re externally powered. You can also use these with your CD player, iPod or other MP3 Player–pretty much anything that has a headset jack to plug into. They also come with a three-year limited warranty.
The sound quality out of these things is absolutely unbelievable, I tried them out with about ten different movies of various subject matter on my laptop, and the end result was, in every case, fantastic. They put out a shocking amount of sound, and do it for the shockingly low price of right around thirty bucks.
So I’m definitely enamored by these speakers–sure, you can get better out there, with subwoofers included and whatnot, but these two speakers by themselves will definitely put out plenty of power for your desktop or laptop.

If you picked up one of Apple’s newly released Magic Mouses with the intentions of using them on a Windows computer you may have noticed that the finger gestures don’t work.
Luckily, a third party developer has come forth to release what they are calling the first Windows Magic Mouse drivers. Of course, you’re going to have to use them at your own risk as we have yet to test them but they have been met with generally well reception thus far. And considering they were actually extracted from Apple’s recent Bluetooth Update, you probably won’t have a problem with them.
You can get the 32-bit drivers here and the 64-bit drivers here.
