Another new HTC phone to pop up on the world wide web is the HTC P6500 (HTC Sirius). The smartphone uses the Windows MObile 6 Pro as its OS and draws it juice from a 400 MHz Samsung processor. One also comes across a 3.5 inch TFT display and support for GSM,GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA.

The HTC P6500 supports Wi-Fi and other connectivity options include USB and Bluetooth. There is also a 1.9 MP shooter with a CMOS sensor and support for MMC, SD, SDIO memory cards. No word on pricing but expect it to be available by August, 2007.

The year 2007 may just be the year of the hybrid devices! Gone are the days when mobile phones were just meant to make and receive calls (boring)! Check out the new HTC Erato (or S420) mobile phone which will be carried by Cingular in U.S. later this year and has an integrated SiRF Star III GPS chip to its credit. The handset supports UMTS standards and boasts of features like; 1.9MP Camera, FM, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. No word on pricing.

Check out the latest phone approved by the FCC - the HTC “Gene”. The specs aren’t amazing, but its still a good-looking phone. The phone features a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, quadband EDGE, 64MB RAM, 201MHz TI OMAP 850, and 128MB ROM. “Gene” also features a nice QVGA display screen.

Pricing on the HTC Athena phone being branded as the T-Mobile Ameo has finally been unveiled. The T-Mobile Ameo will be available in the UK in March, for a yet undisclosed price. The German version of the Ameo will be selling for ï½£350, so similiar pricing can be expected in the UK.

HTC’s Athena mobile phone is finally making its way to carriers, and now we see that it will be know as the new T-Mobile Ameo. The HTC Athena/T-Mobile Ameo features an 8GB hard drive, a microSD card slot, on-board GPS, 5-inch VGA display, 3-megapixel camera, quadband GSM plus HSDPA (2100MHz only), and an XScale core at 624MHz. Included upon purchase are three styli - two traditional and one multi-function stylus. The HTC Athena will be exclusively available through T-Mobile Europe for a few weeks before it makes a larger European release with other carriers. Now, if only this will come to America…

The Boy Genius recently received a shiny new HTC Cavalier S630 mobile phone, and couldn’t wait to show it off. He posted a number of photos of the new phone, including screenshots of an internet speed test conducted on the phone.

The HTC Cavalier S630 has a Samsung 400MHz processor, 128MB flash memory, and a 2 megapixel camera. It has 3G capability, and is a tri-band phone (850/1900/2100). According to Boy Genius, it has a slight updated form factor over its predecessor, the HTC Excalibur. As well, he says that the JOGGR touch-wheel has been moved from the direct side instead of by the screen.

Sadly though, he has some bad news: this phone may never make it to retail sales. The rumor now is that HTC sent out a memo to all distributors stating that the device has been “postponed indefinitely.”

Photos of the new HTC Vox have surfaced online. Reportedly the phone does not have 3G as once rumored, but it does run on Windows Crossbow and reportedly works pretty decently. The photos are kind of blurry, but they give you an idea of what is to come. No word on release date or availability.
