AT&T will apparently let you buy Apple’s handset online now, with shipping estimated at 7 to 10 days. What you need to do is have a company to pay your cell phone bill. Then make sure your IT or Telecom Manager says the iPhone 3G is a supported device. After that got to AT&T Premier online and order the phone.
AT&T Premier is a service for companies which will help them select only the best AT&T Executinve Service for their needs. Well then I guess I need a company to pay my cell phone bill…

The iPhone 3G is said to arrive at BestBuy locations starting with September 7th. Does this mean we will get it unlocked? Am I to understand I’ll be able to get one from a vending machine inside an airport?

An Apple Store in Ohio got robbed early yesterday morning. Robbers entered through a shattered window or door and started to load up Apple products in the trunk of a black Lexus. The police arrived almost on time but they only managed to get their car hit by the robber’s. Probably no one taught those officers to actually follow another car. Or maybe their engine stalled.

Tethering is not the only thing AT&T prohibits. VoIP is also a no-no application. AT&T doesn’t want you to talk almost for free with your friends via your VoIP application. Luckily for all AT&T iPhone customers, Global IP Solutions want to release a VoIP software kit for the iPhone. With it you will not only be able to make VoIP calls, but you could add VoIP to other programs. (more…)

We could check out the iPhone 3G after a month of existence without wondering what the App Store performed in the same period. After 3 days 10 million applications were downloaded. After 27 more days, 50 million more applications have been downloaded totaling 60 million apps worht $30 million. (more…)

Today it’s exactly a month from the official iPhone 3G launch. If in the first three days Apple sold 1 million iPhones, people are estimating that 2 more million handsets were sold since the first weekend. So we are looking at 3 million handsets sold in one month. And they are the same phone. How many cell phone makers can say they can do that?
Sit tight iPhone haters. Before pointing fingers at the whole blogosphere and the Internet making this possible, check first with Apple’s marketing department. I guess they’re the ones to blame.
Fortune and analyst Michael Cote, a former T-Mobile executive, are estimating three million iPhone 3G sales so far. Other analysts are expecting sales to stop around four millions by the end of the quarter.
But let’s see what happens after August 22nd when 20 more countries will sell the iPhone 3G. I know I know, it will be another success hit because of bloggers like me…

Remember that application that Apple fortunately pulled from the AppStore before anymore dimwits decided to try it for just $999.99? One of the eight people who bought the application decided to put up a guided tour of the highly expensive application for us to see if they got their money’s worth. From the video, it sure looks like he got enough sarcasm to last a lifetime and a little boost of self-confidence every now and then, even if it cost him a thousand dollars. The guy says he is readying a cracked version, so be sure to try it whenever it’s available sans the unbelievable price tag, of course!

While T-Mobile wants to copy Apples’ App Store it appears that Vodafone wants to copy Apple’s iTunes thing.
And not only did Vodafone launch one music store but they have launched two. Just to make sure you have a selection of songs to chose from right? The first store, Omnifone’s MusicStation has been around for a while, but now Master Voda has something new: Vodafone Music.

Do you remember NetShare? The iPhone 3G application which lets you tether your iPhone was allowed in the App Store only to be canceled and then accepted again. Well apparently Apple has decided to disallow it after all. AT&T’s word must count for something. AT&T has confirmed that any tethering from your iPhone won’t be tolerated. I wonder what other carrier around the globe feel about it. (more…)

Apple’s App Store for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch has proven to be a great idea. Unlike MobileMe, the App Store became quite popular as developers starting to create all sorts of useful and not so useful application over the past month.
Well apparently T-Mobile has witnessed all that and wants to create a similar App Store. It’s rumored that T-Mobile is preparing a platform for developers to release their applications to T-Mobile customers.
So let me see if I got this right. T-Mobile wants developers to create Java, Windows Mobile and maybe Symbian applications which would be sold over an iTunes like platform? Would that be possible with the current lack of 3G support from T-Mobile? Imagine downloading T-Mobile applications without any 3G coverage. And how will T-Mobile motivate developers to choose their App Store over what Apple has?
We’re going to get answers in time. So far, this is just an unconfirmed rumor.

While we’ve shown you quite a few iPhone cases, some more useful than others, there are those unusually expensive cases we would advise against.
The iPhone 3G leather case in the picture has 272 diamonds worth 6.8 karats embedded in it. Such a case will cost $14,990 and it will surely protect your iPhone 3G wouldn’t you say? It’s a fair price if you’re packing an iPhone Amosu only but that’s about it.
However if you’re considering getting one check with Noreve. They’re the ones selling the case. And while you’re at it, why not get a matching application like the I Am Rich one?

Google wants a piece of the iPhone 3G business and they will get one. For now their Google Translate application is available from Google, just go to translate.google.com from your phone and get it for free.
With Google Translate you will be able to translate websites, blogs and phrases to and from English in 24 languages for now. The application is optimized for speed and it will certainly prove useful when you’re traveling. Sure the application comes for free but you will have to pay various roaming and data charges when accessing it.

Just a few days after Apple rolled out their iPhone Software update 2.0.1, the iPhone Dev Team has released their Pwnage Tool 2.0.2 today. The new Pwnage Tool will do the same thing as its predecessors. It will jailbreak iPhone’s software in a minute. Well actually not that fast but still just as good.
The only difference this time is that the iPhone Dev Team is advising against upgrading to firmware 2.0.1 if you want to unlock the iPhone with a future Pwnage Tool version.
Or what you could do is upgrade, jailbreak and unlock with a SIM unlocking card which we showed you earlier this week. If those SIM hacks work that is…

Here’s an application you definitely need to (for)get. It’s I Am Rich for your iPhone 3G and it’s currently in stock in the App Store. What the program does is really simple, you get to add a red ruby-like icon on your screen to remind you and others people seeing it that you are so rich you can afford it. The application comes for just $999.99 which should be quite a bargain.
But down here in the real world we won’t buy anything like that ever. I don’t know what the person that created it was thinking about. I Am Rich should be the most expensive and most useless application out there. Apparently Apple would let anyone develop their application and sell it over in the App Store.

We’ve analyzed Samsung’s Omnia smartphone before and we have announced various specs, features, release dates and prices. Apparently there’s something new about the Omnia too. It’s now available in white. I think I remember a recent smartphone that sold in two different colors, but if I recall correctly the two colors were supposed to have different meanings. The white symbolized 16GB of memory while the black symbolized 8GB of memory available.
So what did Samsung change in the white Omnia version? Apparently nothing yet. Just the color!

We’ve seen a mechanical iPhone 3G SIM unlock the other day. After ordering one SIM you would be placing it between your iPhone and your carrier’s SIM and everything would work out.
Well Brando has something really similar. The iSmartphone unlocks your iPhone 3G as well as other mobiles. Simply place it in the same soft and change the design of your carrier’s card with some scissors. The iSmartphone is available for just $20.50 and will ship worldwide. Tell us how it works if you’ve got one already!

Here’s a case I’d actually wrap around my iPhone 3G. It’s not like the daily protective yet stylish and crazy colored case we get to see. It’s a Solar Charging Case, an alternative to Mophie.
Besides preventing your iPhone to suffer from unwanted accidents, the Solar Charging Case has a built-in solar panel which will convert sun’s energy and store it in a 1,500mAh battery which will give your iPhone battery a full charge. It takes about 3 hours to charge and it’s advisable to take your iPhone out of the case during the process.
The case will set you back $54 but it certainly is worth it.
