This is the Kandle, which I assume is some play-on word for candle. The Kandle is designed to clip-on the Kindle, or whatever e-book reader you might have.
The Kandle has 2 LEDs that are powered by 2xCR2032 batteries. I’m not certain why e-book readers should need a light. Maybe if they all had color screens we wouldn’t need a clip-on light.
Until that day when all e-book readers are in color, you can pay $24.95 for the Kandle on Amazon.

As if the Beatles didn’t have enough publicity from the Beatles Rock Band Game last year, it would appear the MusicSkins are giving George, John, Paul, and Ringo even more spotlight.
MusicSkins are designed to fit a cellular phone, laptop, MP3 player, or portable gaming device with Beatles themed-skins like images from Let it Be, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, A Hard Days Night, and, of course, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

I think there is a rule of electronics that says that if you are going to make a product that does something, then you should make it do something else as well.
Case in point, the Buffalo Dualie. Not only is it an iPhone dock, but it has a 500GB hard drive with it. Keeping the Dualie by your laptop or desktop will make certain that you have a few more USB ports as well. You can get the Dualie at the Apple Store for about $250.

Razer has introduced a new type of gaming controller with the Sixense. The Sixense uses motion controlling similar to the Wii, and it lets the player control a range of functions on their PCs.
Believe it or not, the Sixense is accurate to the nearest millimeter. That’s pretty darn accurate. Granted, I don’t know a lot of PCs that would make use of a motion controller, but maybe someone needs to invent that market. The Razer Sixense should be available later this year, but there is no word on price.

I’m not certain if you’ve ever heard of Ikan before, but it is a way of putting your grocery lists on a mobile device. All the user has to do is scan a particular item, and then it will appear on their mobile list for their next trip to the grocery store. That, or a separate hard copy printout.
Ikan has been around for a few years, and it is now running on Android. You should be able to get an Ikan system in your home for about $400.

For those of you who just need to have an extra cable for their iPhone/iPod, you might want to consider the FlipSync from Scosche.
This guy costs about $20, and it is essentially an iPod/iPhone cable in keychain form, designed to be whipped out whenever it is needed. It should be out sometime in the first quarter, and Scosche also intends to have similar cables for other smartphones as well.

Every time I leave CES, I always hear about something that I wished I would have seen. In this case, it is the Fingerist.
The Fingerist is a speaker dock for your iPhone that is shaped like an actual keytar. So if you want to put in your iPhone and play some serious music apps, it is up to you. Of course, you might really bother the worlds of those around you.

This is an application for Mac computers that really should be for all computers with touchpads. This is the Inklet, which has the power to transform a tiny trackpad into a tablet.
Granted, there isn’t much you can do with a tablet-sized trackpad, but think of it as sort of a post-it note or something. This application costs $25 for Macs, which is a pretty high price.

I’m not the type who just has to have a trumpet blow every time I get a new email, so I’m not certain whether or not this USB Webmail notifier is for me.
This device was created by Dream Cheeky, and it is designed to light up the moment you receive a new email. This email could come from anyone including Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook Express, and POP3. While I’m not certain of the price as yet, you can read more about it here.

The inventor uses it to charge his Android phone quite quickly, but personally, I think that if you want to charge your mobiles faster, then you will have to harness the power of the dog’s energy. I think we all know that this is a limitless power source.
Until then, we have Erik Schiegg’s solar-powered contraption which should sell for about $60.

There are a lot of iPod docks out there, and this is the first one that I have seen that resembles a bar stool. The iTamTam from Branex Design of France has some pretty impressive specs with four 1.5 inch 10 Watt tweeters and a 5.25-inch 80 Watt subwoofer.
I’m not certain if you are meant to sit on this 11 pound contraption, but I certainly wouldn’t sit on it when the iPod/iPhone product is docked in it. Don’t lean on it. Your iPod or iPhone is not meant to be back support.
