The igotU is a cool little gadget that calculates your route right down to the meter by logging onto Google Maps. The device has a built-in GPS sensor and SiRF III chip and is a welcome travel companion which can track all your travel destinations either on land, in the air or on the water. It weighs a mere 21g and measures just 47×29x12mm. The navigation software is downloadable for free from the manufacturer’s homepage.

The USB stick is compatible with all digital cameras and linked to Google Maps which allows your travel photos from each location to be loaded into the device and re-ordered there. It will run for approx. 20 hours on it’s internal lithium-ion battery. Retails for around $99.99

Now, here’s something that could become quite popular when it hits the streets.  A couple of pictures were seen floating around the planet-se forums showing a Sony Ericsson-branded mobile speaker with a W995 sitting snug on top it.  The speaker seems pretty small in comparison to the W995, but the MS-410 might gain some fans just because of its diminutive size that could go into anyone’s pocket right next to their favorite Walkman phone.

No information on price or a release date, but we are sure Sony Ericsson is already prepping one.

With the impending demand for notebooks increasing nowadays, don’t be surprised if some companies like Microsoft set their eyes on notebook accessories for business. Apparently that is what Microsoft has in mind as it is set to introduce the Notebook Cooling Base, designed to make notebook use more comfortable with a built-in fan and sleek form.

If it is not yet obvious, critics say that by 2010, most phones will feature a slot for removable memory cards. These days, we see a wide array of phones catering to that and surely, this prediction is well on its way to being realized.

And to make sure that there will be a supplier for SD cards by that time, STMicroelectronics has gone ahead and ensured that no modifications will be needed with its EMIF06-mSD02N16 SD Card interface IC.

Removable memory is an exciting feature for coming generations of handsets, enabling downloading, transferring and sharing of media as well as purchasing of content such as e-books. SD formats already dominate mobile phones and other consumer electronic platforms, and iSupply predicts MiniSD and MicroSD will make up 90% of all card slots in 2010.

In addition, the SD Card Association has recently extended its roadmap by announcing Embedded SD, which will enable removable and embedded memory to share a common interface leading to simpler system design.

I don’t know about you guys but I’ve never really been fond of Bluetooth headsets. However, if I were to get a Bluetooth headset, the Jawbone Bluetooth Headset may very well be it.

Never worry about running low on battery life as this new car phone charger from Carphone Warehouse allows you to recharge at any time the eco-friendly way. Carphone Warehouse has started selling a environment friendly mobile phone charger that claims to be at least 90 percent more efficient than current phone chargers and could possibly pay for itself within a few years.

The charger, which has been developed by Kondor, shuts itself down when it has charged the mobile phone or when the phone is disconnected.

This means that the power lost when on idle is minimal and by one estimate could save the UK approximately 217 million kWh each year if we all used the charger which the CW’s PR department reckon is equivalent to the energy used by 66,000 households (ed: that’s probably worth £66 million).

It is priced at £23 and will be available this March.
