Casio f-9860G Slim is Ultra-Compact and Super Stylish Calculator
Casio, renowned Japanese Company, introduced its slim and modish Ultra Compact fx-9860G Calculator especially for students at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics 2007 Annual Meeting and Exposition. The calculator is just 7/8" at its thickest point. Casio fx-9860G Slim features a high contrast display with an easy-to-use icon menu.
Natural display input option in graphing calculator allows input and viewing of equations exactly as they appear in the textbook. USB offers PC and projector connectivity whereas for data storage and downloading of many add-in applications 1.5MB flash memory is included in the cell phone. The calculator will ship in June to be sold for $99.99 at retail and will be available to educators for $91.00.
We are proud to introduce the fx-9860G Slim to students completing courses in mathematics and science who understand the need for an instrument that is easy to navigate but can fully function given complex equations, said John Casey, General Manager of Calculators and Printing Devices for Casio, Inc. This models design makes it student-friendly as it is much lighter and more fashionable than typical graphing calculators and creates a desire to learn because it is not your traditional mathematics tool.
