Here’s another Star Trek themed App, and this could be a practical one.

The Captain’s Log App has a Starfleet-themed communicator for sound and text capture. It also goes into the GPS coordinates for charting a trip to the corner store. You can even check out a 3D rendering of the Starship Enterprise, and share logs through social networking.
