Do you have more USB powered peripherals laying around your house than you have USB ports to power them? Well then does Cambrionix have a solution for you; their 49-port USB hub.
OK, so maybe it’s not marketed towards those who have a extensive gadget collection, but it’s still damn cool. Cambrionix says that the hub is for professional use, such as test labs or other commercial applications, but I’m sure some consumers can put it to good use.
If you actually want to get your hands on Cambrionix’s 49-port USB hub you’re going to have to pony up £399 or around $660. Don’t forget to add this to the fact that it needs to be connected to a ATX power supply to actually function. Any takers?

Awesome !
Just… awesome !
It certainly looks solid enough with all those bolts locking it together (maybe over-kill ?).
Anyway, nice to see that there are electronic gadgets around that aren’t built to pander to the shallow pockets of wit-less PC-World punters.
Their website isn’t what I’d call particularly “flash”, but I don’t suppose it’s needed if you’re selling to professionals. Can’t stand cheap ad’s and clutter myself anyway.
I say best of luck luck to them. Wonder what the next interesting gadget from them will be? 49-port USB3.0 perhaps ?! :o)))
