Next time you pick up your mobile phone, you might be getting a call from Britney Spears! Ok, the star herself won’t be making thousands of personal calls, but with a new promotion from Elizabeth Arden, you’ll be able to send customized phone call recordings from Britney to your friends. The new promotion was launched today in conjuction with Spears’ latest fragrance “Midnight Fantasy”, which was released in December 2006.

The service uses Interactive Voice Recording technology to send customized phone calls from http://www.midnightfantasybritneyspears.com. Users can select personalized messages to fit their friends’ personalities, and the recipient will hear Britney’s message as soon as they answer the phone.

Britney is excited about the new service, saying: “It’s so cool to personally reach out to my fans this way! I am really excited for people to get the calls and send ‘midnight fantasy’ messages to their friends from me. I absolutely love this new fragrance, and hope everyone is encouraged to try it.”
