We all know of Amazon’s Kindle eBook reader and the Nook from Barnes & Noble, but what about the Kobo from Borders? Talk has been circulating for some time regarding the Borders backed eBook reader but now we have some great news for those following that talk.

The Kobo eReader is now available for pre-order at only $149 and a delivery date of June 17th.

The Kobo looks to be a pretty run of the mill eBook reader but it’s competitive price should definitely make a splash.
