Boost Mobile earned the nod of being the 2009 North American Prepaid Mobile Service of the year. Prepaid services are the cost-conscious choice for people who want to control mobile usage and apparently Boost Mobile stood out as the best choice. The award will be presented to Boost Mobile on May 5, 2009, at Frost & Sullivan’s Mobile & Wireless Awards Banquet.
To choose the recipient of this award, the Frost & Sullivan mobile and wireless analyst team tracks all competing services for service adoption and growth, R&D spending, new products in development and new product features and modifications. All new service launches and new products in development within each company are compared and evaluated based on degree of innovation and customer satisfaction. Frost & Sullivan presents this top award to the company ranked number one in overall product success.
Boost Mobile received the award for offering its customers multiple plans, with no hidden fees, to best fit their needs—including pay by the minute, day or month. The recently launched ‘Monthly Unlimited’ plan offers unlimited nationwide talk, text and multimedia messaging, wireless Web and nationwide Walkie-Talkie services for an all-inclusive price of $50 per month – with no additional Telecom Taxes, activation, roaming, traveling or long distance fees.

It’s nice to see Boost doing so well. They have an excellent model. Build products and services that are desired by the customer and the localized footprint to support and grow the distribution.
