While we may be a little behind the curve in the U.S. on cell phone infrastructure, there are people using cell phones for fiction in the English speaking world too. One site that allows this is http://www.textnovel.com. This site was launched in May 2008 and is growing at a rate of over 100% per month. There are hundreds of fictional stories on the site, most written by US residents. But some of them are written by Japanese cell phone authors!
