Bookeen showcases Cybook OpusBy Jeff Baker - 05/18/2009 10:00:43 PM |

Now, there’s not much information on Bookeen’s latest eBook reader, the Cybook Opus, but from what we know it sure does sound promising.
The device featured above will apparently weigh just 5.10 ounces and fit in your pocket despite the fact that it has a 6″ screen. Interntal storage clocks in at 1GB which can be used to store PDF, HTML, ePub, and other text formatted eBooks. Gizmodo says that the battery life will last for 8,000 page flips and 21 days of standby.
Unfortunately there are no built in 3G capabilities like in the Kindle but that means the Cybook Opus will probably be affordable. Expect to see this thing in stores next month.
