Bluetooth iPhone Headset Gets FCC Approval
The iPhone Bluetooth headset that we were introduced to back in January when the iPhone itself was introduced has finally gotten the nod of approval from the FCC. The FCC filing confirms that the 2.4GHz headset won't cause any significant interference, and can be legally sold within the U.S. What is lacking in the filing, however, are any new details about how the device works. Nevertheless, we also don't know when this little gadget will be available for sale. Considering that the iPhone launches in just two weeks, it is not likely that the headset will be available for the launch as most companies like to hold off on any major production until they get the FCC approval. But who knows.... maybe it will be available.
