Bluebird Soft BM-150R PDA Phone Approved by FCC

BlueBirdBM150-R.JPG

Bluebird Soft's BM-150R in its Pidion line has finally crossed the FCC hurdle and is ready for sale in the United States. Of note, this phone was already released in Korea last year.

Spec-wise, this industrial-standard PDA phone looks okay with support for both CDMA (Cellular/k-PCS) and GSM (Quadband 850/900/1800/1900MHz) and a 3.5-inch LCD TFT touchscreen, running on Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System. A 1.3-megapixel camera makes up for the camera options. Connectivity is taken care of by 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, IrDa, USB, and serial port. GPS and T-DMB are other notable features. Expansion is made possible by a miniSD slot. Unfortunately, this is no 3G device as it comes with GPRS only.

No information on pricing yet.
