Blue to release external Mikey iPhone/iPod touch micBy Jeff Baker - 01/05/2010 6:20:29 PM |
While the iPhone has a built in microphone it’s not exactly the best one out there. Luckily, Blue Microphones has debuted the above addon for the iPhone and iPod touch called the Mikey.
There was an original Mikey available but this second generation microphone features “improved circuity for superior recording and enhanced new features”. Additionally, the microphone features a USB and 3.5mm pass-through for additional peripherals.
The bad news is you won’t be getting studio quality recording for cheap as it’s currently priced at $99.99.
