Blog Action Day: How to combat poverty with technologyBy Tony - 10/15/2008 10:20:22 PM |

Today is Blog Action Day, a special day for bloggers in which thousands of people get together (virtually) and talk about one subject: poverty.
At MobileWhack we’d like to offer a single tip on how to combat the poorness with technology. The tip is pretty simple: stop buying every top-notch gadget that is released.
In other words, instead of spending money by making monthly replacements of the latest cellphones, laptops, MP3 players, GPS systems, and other devices, save a bit and donate to a charity of your choice. The advice can be obvious and common sense for some folks, but for others that are geek-tech-obsessed it probably won’t be that normal.
Which charity to donate? Your choice! Check this list of charities against poverty and hunger if you’re undecided.
