BlackBerry OS 4.5 Available from AT&T

Three versions of RIM‘s Berries are going to get the expected OS 4.5 upgrade. BlackBerries 8820, 8320 and 8310 will get the update from AT&T. The carrier seems ready to offer the new OS which is also available from RIM too. For now these are the only updates available. Does that mean AT&T wants to make us buy newer phones? Let’s say an iPhone 3G or a BlackBerry Bold? Or is this their way to drive us to the competition’s Storm?
