It looks like the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is the Gemini or at least that would be the logical conclusion when comparing the specs of the two phones. This Curve could be a low cost smartphone for emerging markets as the features aren’t that impressive so far:

  • 320×240 resolution screen
  • Wi-Fi 802.11b/g (no draft n)
  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
  • OS 5.0
  • Changeable faceplates possible
  • 2 megapixel camera

We’ll be still waiting for those release information as RIM hasn’t officially said anything about the Gemini.
