BlackBerry 8820 Smartphone with Wi-Fi
Research In Motion finally unveiled its first dual-mode BlackBerry 8820Smartphone. The thinnest BlackBerry yet, the 8820 comes with a full-fledged QWERTY keyboard, a 320x240 display and trackball navigation system.
The BlackBerry 8820 boasts integrated GPS, the latest media player enhancements and support for microSD/microSDHC (high capacity) memory cards up to 32GB. Combining EDGE/GPRS/GSM and Wi-Fi, this is RIM's first dual-mode cell phone.
The 8820 supports 802.11 a/b/g standards allowing you to access the internet over public hotspots. In conjunction with BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Internet Service, you can now do more on the road with Wi-Fi, including IM. It also supports UMA (unlicensed mobile access).
Oh, and in case you were wondering, it comes with a removable battery.
