BlackBerry 8707h smartphone – with Japanese-language text input support

8707h_Blackberry.jpgResearch In Motion announced that the BlackBerry 8707h smartphone will include Japanese-language text input support. The phone will be only available in Japan through NTT DoCoMo. With the Japanese language support, it will satisfy customers who are in a japanese language enviroment that are interested in deploying BlackBerry smartphones. The phone will provide a Japanese user interface and will now allow users the ability to input Japanese text for personal information management (PIM) applications, read and write Japanese emails, and browse Japanese websites.

The BlackBerry 8707h phone will be pre-loaded with the Japanese support and is expected to be available this summer. Beginning June 11th DoCoMo will be accepting advanced orders for the Blackberry 8707h. Details are available on the NTT DoCoMo online corporate sales site www.docomo.biz.
